Essential Duties:

• Design and implement automation solutions based on system understanding and analysis of technology and system specifications
• Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts to ensure complete test coverage
• Proven experience to Reports test progress and quality status to project stakeholders as well as educate team members to assist in Run and Maintain activities.
• Write and execute automated test scripts using a pre-defined framework, in addition, design and implement test frameworks and tools
• Experience working within an agile development process (Scrum) from the test design, test automation, and execution perspective
• Ability to see to completion entire testing process from data validation to front end gui using a combination of SQL, manual, and automation testing techniques.
• Experience with designing, developing and the execution of reusable and maintainable automated scripts
• Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools
• Proficient in GUI design standards
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where resourcefulness, determination, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success
• Service layer testing (SOAP and RESTful) using SOAP UI and Java

Required Skills:

• Experience in a quality assurance role with quality assurance processes primarily with software application life cycle development processes. 
• Strong command of SQL and understanding of relational databases.
• Develop TestNG/JUnit/MRUnit tasks and groups whereby the application has full code coverage, from a unit, integration, regression, performance, and security perspectives.
• Strong demonstrable I knowledge in Java, software design, object-oriented programming, and debugging skills
• Solid experience in automated infrastructure design and implementation using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin
• Build on existing continuous integration builds within Jenkins and Mavin whereby nightly builds runs the full test suite
• Solid understanding and techniques for testing SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with testing in an Agile environment
