Ans: The objects will be captured in QTP, based on the type of application and its supported add-in.
The objects will be identified if the supported add-in is installed with QTP.
For example if you are testing the java based application, java add-in need to be installed with QTP. When the recording is done, the java based objects will be captured in local object repository of the action.
If you are recording windows based or win32 application, there is no additional add-in is required.

Ans: Each action contains its own folder. The resources associated with each action are as follows:
1) The test script - script.mts
2) Local object repository - Objectrepository.bdb
3) Local action sheet - The Default.xls file in the test script. Action1 sheet is the default local sheet to the action.
4) The parameter file - Resource.mtr
5) Snapshots - Local images for each step are stored in Snapshots folder
