66What Suggestions Have You Provided For Process Improvement In Your Organization?
Date Posted: 06/27/2012

Ans:
Suggestion 1
Initially we have to individually coordinate with the developer and take their time for discussion related to bugs identified or fixed. Sometimes it was taking longer since some of the developers were claiming to be busy. To manage this, I have suggested a weekly bug resolution meeting for an hour, in which it is mandatory for all the development team members to dedicate their time for bug discussion. My manager liked this and implemented this as part of process.
Suggestion 2
To reduce the turnaround time of training of new hires, I have suggested an internet website which contains lots of recorded videos for understanding common functionalities of the product. Over a period of time it has incorporated more than 50 videos and helped new hires as a self service training portal.

67Your Manger Feels The V-model Is Vast And Unnecessary Because It Has Lots Of Documentation Involved.
Date Posted: 06/27/2012

Ans: My manager is very experience and he will not come out with such until there is strong reason behind it. I agree with him incase project is small and waterfall model is sufficient to develop this project. In case the project is large and has frozen requirements I would share the opinion with my manager stating that v-model has strong integration with each of development and it gives very early focus on the testing activities of project. Hence the quality of product developed using V-model is always good.
